Worldwide Network of Artist Residencies

Ace Foundation

Residency in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Artists-in-residence are selected by their proposals submitted by an online open call.


Akademie Schloss Solitude

Residency in Stuttgart, Germany. Persons up to 35 or if older who have completed a university or college degree within the past five years are welcome to apply.


Akademie Solitude

Residency from three to twelve months in Baden-Württemberg. Persons up to 35 or if older who have completed a university or college degree within the past five years are welcome to apply.



Residency in Moriya, Japan. The residency program can host up to 3 artists every year, but application is open to everyone.

Berliner Künstlerprogramm

A jury annually selects approximately 20 international guests for the Berliner Künstlerprogramm. Artists in the fields of literature, film and music may apply.


Darat Al Funun

Deagu Foundation

Artist residency in Gachang, Korea. The residency is for three months and with a six days exhibition period.


Delfina Foundation

Residency in London for up to 8 artists at the time.


Edge of Arabia 

Artist residency in New York City for artists based in the Middle East and North Africa.



Gasworks’ Residencies Program was established in 1994 to provide non UK-based artists with the opportunity to live and work in London for a period of up to 3 months.


Incheon Art Platform

Artist residency in Incheon, Korea. The application is open to everyone above the age of 25.



Residency in Kamiyama, Japan. Open call application and with the opportunity to experience Japanese small-town life while working together with local people on artistic projects.


Kuona Trust Foundation

Residency in Kenya for one year. The residency program is open to emerging, mid-career and senior level artists.


Künstlerhaus Dortmund

Foreign artists resident outside of Germany from every field of visual arts and without restriction of age can apply. However, students of German or foreign academies and universities are excluded.



Artist residency in Shenzen, China. The application is both open for artist, critics and curators.



Residency in Finland, RaumArs also guarantees some support for the material expenses (300€/month) against receipts.


Rijks Akademie

Residency in Amsterdam for one year with up to one year extension. Application is open to upcoming artists with a few years of professional experience after their education.



Residency in Sapporo and Tokyo, Japan. The residency application is open to everyone.
