Culture+Conflict is an ambitious venture – independent, interdisciplinary, international and intercultural – to explore and amplify the distinctive role of culture in conflict and post-conflict contexts. The aim is to support artists, writers and cultural practitioners working in these contexts, by promoting and amplifying their work to international audiences, and specifically addressing policy-makers, politicians and diplomats. We believe that by building awareness, understanding, cross-cultural empathy, and sharing learning, we can challenge the cycle of conflict that forcefully impacts on everyday lives.
